  Sunday 9th, festival Begins 

Welcome to Made in Roath 2016, on behalf of the Made in Roath team it is my pleasure to welcome you to this years festival and wish you the very best of times. We have a fantastic line up of events happening through out the week but here’s a list of some of the events we have today.

We have starting today in exhibitions/events and things - Landscape & Dream at Spit and Sawdust (21), Poly Styrene: Punk Icon in Albany Road (69), James Green the Mask Hunt (67, 57, 34), Internal External at Wellfield Road (61), Hearts of the Rainbow - tribute to Louise Knight at the corner of the Pen Y Wain Road (13) 103 Ninian Road (3) Love Penylan: Community art project Memories of the park in Waterloo gardens (25), the valleys project outside Juno lounge (59)

Colourful Places at Waterloo tea house (24), the fantastic Public Chess outside Penylan community centre (18), Aberfan: Unspent Youth at the Gate (43), Inkspot Studio’s show (49), Beyond Borders at MADE (56), The Courtyard, 35a Penylan (65), Portrait 11 at the Andrew Buchan (32).

 Nonarchy, Pillow Multimedia exhibition, PhotoRenga workshop, ain’t no zoo in Roath, Fragments for a city in Ruin, Sensors and Sensibility, MadeinRoath Open exhibition all taking place at 28 the Parade (55), From the Ground up at Saint Edwards Church (22), Smudging and Splattering the Myth at Mackintosh sports bar (42) and Welcome House open studio (2) at Welcome house.  

In Open houses: Mari Gordon at 11 Tewkesbury Place (5), Sue Hunt at 104 Marlborough (26) Dorset House, 37 Arron street (46),

CREATE: we have Clouds in the front of house on 37 Alfred street (28),
Stage: there is Dust and Dandruff at Nofitstate (50)
Happenings: there is Redacted Images at Albany Pets (29) the free bank of Roath in the Wash Inn (66), Proposals for the public on the hoardings on Albany Road (68)

keep an eye out for A&E Productions, Sunshine. Our big yellow van which will be around Roath, follow them on twitter for daily locations. Also through out Roath we have Porch Tile Panel Trail, Crossing paths and (im)polite notice at various locations through out Roath.

Finally join us for Gareth Ziggy presents - Join the Parade 4pm 28 The Parade to celebrate the start of Made in Roath 2016.
